Do you accept insurance?
I don't accept insurance at this time. If your insurance company covers out-of-network providers, I can provide a monthly charge summary (called a "superbill") which you can submit to the insurance company for reimbursement per their coverage policy. Insurance companies often require a formal diagnostic code with their claims. I will discuss my diagnosis with you before I submit this information.

I accept cash, checks, credit/debit cards at this time. I can also take FSA or HSA cards.
Do you have No-Show/ Cancellation Policy?

Do you provide in-person sessions or telehealth (video/phone) sessions?
I offer telehealth sessions to clients who reside in California and in-person sessions at San Francisco office. Telehealth sessions are provided remotely via HIPAA-compliant platform; Zoom.

All appointments are held on Monday through Thursday from 9am to 4pm. In-person sessions are only provided on Mondays and Thursdays at San Francisco office.
How long does therapy take?
The length of therapy depends on individual needs and the issues wish addressed in therapy. Some client benefit after a handful of sessions and some may take years. After the first few sessions, we will create a treatment plan together based on your needs and therapeutic goals. And, I will provide ongoing assessments periodically to improve your experience in therapy.
What is Good Faith Estimate?
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
