Self - Revelatory Performance Group 

Self-revelatory performances (self-rev for short) are a type of theatrical production that is created by participants/actors based on their current life challenges and therapeutically working through them. 

 

During the entire series, members of the group/actors use drama therapy methods such as dramatic and improvisational play, writing and arts in developing and performing the piece. At the end of the series, members of the group will perform their solo theatre piece and will be witnessed by group members and audience who are invited by members of the group.

Group Details:

​

When: February  18th - May 27th, 2023 Saturday afternoons 1:30-4:30pm for 12 weeks

(Dates: 2/18, 2/25, 3/5, 3/18, 3/25, 4/1, 4/8, 4/22, 4/29, 5/13, 5/20, 5/27;

please note: The 3rd meeting is on Sunday, 3/5 from 10-1pm)

Performance day will be between May 20th-21st, 2023

Where: Studio 210 for group meetings and rehearsals

Fee: $600 for 12 weeks group session (Payment plan is available)

Additional fee might apply depending on theatre rentals

 

Up to 6 members.  No previous theatre experience required
